Clearance: Applicants must be able to meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. NOTE: United States Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Key Skills:

• Extensive software development experience using Java, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Springboot, Hibernate is a must.
• Experience managing a team of software developers that serve as subject matter experts spanning across multiple programing technologies, environments, and toolkits.
• Experience interacting and presenting inputs towards solutions with senior leadership within IBR and at times, represent IBR professionally when interacting with customers or customers representative staff.
• Experience with AWS and Agile project tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience working with DevOps and/or DevSecOps teams to align product releases with established update cycles.
• Experience with other software technologies such as Web Services (SOAP/REST), JSON, XML, AJAX, and/or Python a plus.
• CompTIA Security certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Software development with Java, JavaScript, and various scripting languages
• Design data models and web APIs and creation of software tasks from system requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit, and integration testing of software, troubleshooting and debugging of the system.
• Immediate responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining the existing system as well as design, development, and documentation of new features.
• Usage of Agile project tools for day-to-day tasks within the Scrum process
• Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces.
• Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically.
• Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
• Mentor junior developers, maintain code standards and perform code reviews to ensure code quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering related field
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• 12 years development experience including extensive development experience using Java, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Springboot, and Hibernate
• Experience with AWS and Agile project tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in Java Spring Framework (Boot, Batch, Data, Security)
• Required technology experience includes Java, Spring, REST, SOAP, JavaScript, JQuery, React/Angular JSON, XML, Apache Tomcat, Springboot, Hibernate.
• Experience with developing user interfaces using SCSS, HTML, JavaScript (jQuery, React)
• Familiarity with CI/CD environment (i.e. Gitlab, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, Perl)
• Experience working with DevOps and/or DevSecOps teams to align product releases with established update cycles.
• Experience with design, development, enhancement, troubleshooting and debugging of web applications.
• Experience interacting with operations support to resolve any urgent issues/bugs to the point that they are fully remediated.
• Experience with relational database concepts (i.e. ERDs) and SQL a bonus.
• Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC.
• Experience with Agile Scrum
• Experience with other software technologies such as Nexus, Git, Gradle, Groovy, Gogo, IntelliJ IDEA, or Fortify not required but nice to have.
• Prior development experience for Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.\
• CompTIA Security certification is a plus.
