The Branch Manager is responsible for growing deposits for the office by effectively and efficiently supervising the customer servicing staff to provide excellent service to the Bank’s customers.
Listing of Key Responsibilities:
Education Required: HS Degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred. ABA or BAI retail banking and consumer lending training courses would be helpful. Supervisory skills class also would be helpful.
Experience Required: 7 years of experience in a retail banking branch environment, with at least 4 years in a Branch Manager role.
Knowledge and Skills Required: Sound people management, organization and communication (written and verbal) and multi-tasking skills. Sound analytical, customer service and business development skills to assist in identifying customers’ specific needs, and closing the sale of the appropriate services. P/C skills for communication, analytical and reporting purposes.
Key Business Relationships: Interacts internally with the County President, Loan Officers, Birmingham Branch and loan support staff and centralized Loan and Deposit Operations staffs, and externally with existing and potential Bank customers.
Other Relevant Information: It is very important to emphasize that the person performing the responsibilities assigned to this position works with confidential customer information, and only is to access such on a need to know basis. Also, such information never should be released to a third party without the specific authorization of a Senior Manager.
