Southern Foodservice Management is Hiring a Catering Lead (541) Near Fort Mill, SC

Southern Foodservice Management, Inc., a national contract food service provider, is looking to hire a talented and motivated Catering Lead to work at Schaeffler located Fort Mill, SC 29715.

This position schedule is Monday through Friday, and the shift hours are 6:00am – 2:00pm.

The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. A clean background check and drug test will be required before hiring.

We are looking for a professional who will deliver excellent customer service and quality food in every product we offer.

You must be organized and work efficiently to provide our clients with seamless service during meetings and events. In this position you are required to have cooking experience as well as experience setting up event buffets’ on- site and off-site. Attention to detail is a must, you should have a lot of energy and be able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of catering experience.
  • 3 years of cooking or restaurant experience.
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and Food Code, Sanitation and Safety Procedures.
  • Full understanding of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
  • State Food Handlers Permit is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a quality dining atmosphere and handle guest complaints/requests quickly.
  • Monitor the quality of the product and service provided.
  • Gather event requirements to ensure needs are met.
  • Manage stock and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain proper sanitation control.
  • Set a good example for all personnel through appearance in uniform and work ethic.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
