The Part Time Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse functions, including but not limited to the following: picking parts from any warehouse zone, packing and securing parts for shipment to dealers; completion of all appropriate paperwork; operate multiple types of powered industrial equipment; special projects as assigned and Inventory Maintenance Activities. Click here to learn more about our operation! This position is approximately 28 hours per week (Monday - Friday). Typical shift is currently 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm; the exact schedule may vary. Responsibilities: Use of PIVs (Powered Industrial Vehicles) such as tuggers, forklifts, pallet jacks or lift machines to perform assigned tasks. Use of safety equipment such as seat belt or fall protection body harness with lanyard is required. Associates are responsible for the efficient completion of their assigned work and are also expected to interact professionally with others in a team-oriented environment. Read and retain numbers and complete forms/paperwork accurately & legibly. Meet safety, individual production and quality performance objectives in a fast paced environment. Work with minimum supervision & follow through on assignments. Qualifications: Warehousing or Manufacturing type experience preferred Previous automotive parts experience helpful, but not required Good attention to detail Physical requirements include: able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk for long periods of time, reach above head and shoulders, bend, squat, push, pull, grasp, and climb stairs Attend and pass a Hazardous Materials Handling/Transportation class Qualified to operate, pass testing and maintain certification on power equipment (including but not limited to: Forklifts, order pickers, tuggers, stackers) Valid driver's license required, prior experience with powered industrial equipment is preferred.
