Registered Behavior TechnicianSoutheast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and TreatmentFull Time Registered Behavior Technician Responsibilities: Provide direct care to our clients under the supervision of a Behavior AnalystImplement individualized programs for children based on ABA principles as written by the Behavior AnalystAccurately record information on client progress throughout the sessionComplete daily progress notes within 24 hoursBe courteous and professional with clients, families, and community organizationsCommunicate professionally with supervisors, families, and other professionalsProvide 30 hours of client contact servicesAbide by all ethical guidelines set forth by the BACBMaintain the SEMO Autism Center’s reputation for an organized, team environmentBehave professionally with all staff members, clients, and caregivers
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Hold a current Registered Behavior Technician Certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be able to obtain within 30 days of start dateAble to lift at least 25 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically activeAbility to pass a background checkStrong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skillsAble to work with young childrenDemonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
