**Position Summary**

This position is a part-time adjunct clinical supervisor in the Center for Child and Family Therapy (CCFP): in the University of Denvers Department of Psychology. The CCFP provides assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and parents, and is the training center for our American Psychological Association accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology. Most services are provided by students in our clinical psychology PhD program and supervised by licensed clinical psychologists.

The purpose of this position is to serve as an adjunct clinical supervisor for clinical PhD students providing therapy services through the CCFP. The adjunct clinical supervisor must be licensed, or license-eligible with paperwork for licensure submitted to the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) for licensure. Tasks include: weekly supervision (30 min per therapy case) with students, review of supervision video and provision feedback during weekly meetings, review and co-sign of clinical documentation, and being available by phone for safety/reporting check-ins (depending on case acuity and issues that may arise).

**Essential Functions**

* APA ethics code and state guidelines for reporting of child/elder abuse and confidentiality

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

* Fluency in English.

* Supervisory skills and knowledge of evidence-based interventions.

* Excellent understanding of APA ethics code and Colorado law regarding reporting of child/elder abuse.

* Excellent reasoning ability, both in the abstract (e.g., managing multiple cases) and the concrete (e.g., teaching students interventions that may be new, guidance and supervision of students working with clients).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Required Qualifications**

* Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology, completion of internship and post-doc involving accrual of clinical hours

* License-eligible psychologist with paperwork submitted to Colorado DORA

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Licensed psychologist in Colorado

**Course Rate**

$4,233 for a 9-month academic year position (Sept thru May, $470.33 per month). May fill various adjunct clinical supervisor positions during a quarter when an opening arises. Salary for a 3-month, quarterly position is $1,411 ($470.33 per month).
