• Title: Special Education Teacher

• Student Age Group: Elementary and Middle
• Case Load: 5 Kids

• Develop and implement specialized instructional plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Modify and adapt curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects and social-emotional skills.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor(student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Ensure the effective implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support positive student behavior.
• Stay informed about best practices in special education through ongoing professional development.

• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
