These are full time and full school year positions.Job Title - Occupational Therapist.•Age Group: High School•Start Date: ASAP•End Date: June 2024•Total hours per week: 37-40 hours per weekResponsibilities:- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timelyQualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist- Proven experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a school or acute care setting- Knowledge of occupational health principles, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficientlyNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
