Clinic - Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)
MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement occupational therapy services to pediatric clients.
Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN openings are available at our Houston Clinic.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - new grads are welcomed to apply!
- Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in Texas by anticipated start date
- Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required
Job Duties:
- Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, assessing patientÂ’s progress, and implementing adjustments
- Educate and train families about various OTA techniques and strategies
- Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
- Monitor patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and offer encouragement
- Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality care
