We are a brand new Upscale Casual Restaurant and Bar called South Paw AVL. We are located in South Asheville and are going to open our doors in Mid-April. We are looking for energetic and talented Kitchen Leads to help shape our kitchen into a well run machine that is consistently pumping out inspired dishes.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Lead to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing excellent customer service. If you have a passion for food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory control and stock rotation
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
