South Middlesex Opportunity Council is Hiring a Recovery coordinator Near Framingham, MA

SUMMARY

Support the Anchored in Recovery Center by assisting with administrative responsibilities, resource development, outreach, internal communications, and service delivery.

Provide care for a target population of individuals navigating substance use challenges.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations including and creating daily staff schedules.
  • Develop, schedule, implement and record training and professional development activities.
  • Assists community with creating and arranging details for center events, scheduling, billing and debriefing of tracked data.
  • Responsible for ensuring all staff adhere to the Policy and Procedure Manual at Anchored in Recovery.
  • Responsible for collecting required data for outcomes and BSAS quarterly reports.
  • Assist with planning of current and new fundraising and cultivation events with development team.
  • Responsible for supervising Volunteer Coordinator, Engagement Specialist and Recovery Coach including weekly supervision and reporting back to the Program Director.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for outreach in targeted locations, with a focus on diversity and delivering services to historically underserved populations.
  • Ensure compliance with program / department, agency and / or funder requirements, as well as SMOC policies & procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred. May be substituted for 5 years of related experience.
  • Prior experience in mental health, substance use with a minimum of 2 years community services preferred.
  • Excellent record keeping and organizational skills required.
  • Flexibility in hours and work locations
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and evidence of insurability required.
  • Dress is business casual.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to drive a vehicle.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
  • Ability to make a comprehensive assessment of clients' needs.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

  • Directly reports to Director of Anchored in Recovery Peer Recovery Support Center.
  • Indirect reports of this position are Engagement Specialist, Volunteer Coordinator, Recovery Coach.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will travel to various locations within Framingham and the schedule will require flexibility. As part of the responsibilities of this position, the Program Director will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.

A successful background check is required.
