South Hills Golf & Country Club is searching for highly motivated individuals who are excited to join our team!

This job requires a pre-existing knowledge of food and beverages but will also demand a desire to learn more. Applicants must be able to work well with others and always have a positive mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Server Responsibilities

· Greet members and guests and show them to their table

· Prepare room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, utensils, etc.

· Serve food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.

· Complete knowledge of menu options with the ability to assist members and guests in selecting food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.

· Careful attention to food presentation and the quality of each dish before serving.

· Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.

· Able to handle money accurately, operate a point-of-sale system and perform high-quality work while unsupervised.

· Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff.

· Strictly adhere to food, sanitary, and safety standards.

· Work Poolside, Fine Dining, and Banquets

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
