This pivotal role is centered around ensuring the efficient and timely importation of goods by air, overseeing the entire process from customs clearance to final delivery. We're seeking an individual who excels in coordination, communication, and has a keen eye for detail to help navigate the complexities of air freight logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the importation process of goods via air, managing customs clearance, and ensuring delivery to final destinations.

- Liaise with airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies to guarantee timely and efficient shipment of goods.

- Provide regular shipment tracking updates to customers, ensuring transparency and reliability.

- Prepare and process necessary documentation for customs clearance, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service consistently.

- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and all relevant legalities affecting air freight.

What You Need to Succeed:

- Preferred experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field, with specific experience in air imports highly regarded.

- Robust mathematical skills for calculating costs, rates, and managing billing processes.

- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, capable of working effectively under pressure.

- An understanding of air freight logistics, customs regulations, and trade laws.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered a bonus.

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with logistics software and systems preferred.
