Responsibilities:

• Responsible for covering loads and build relationships with current carriers
• Recruit new carriers and set them up on our carrier board
• Prepares estimates for freight rates.
• Schedules and negotiates transportation of goods with freight companies.
• Notifies customers of the arrival of freight and arranges delivery.
• Traces and locates lost shipments when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in freight brokerage
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with computer based freight databases
