About the Role
The Company is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support its global M&A program and other strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be part of a small, close-knit team of lawyers, interacting with high-level executives and playing a key role in the company's strategic vision. Responsibilities include supporting corporate development in M&A activities, working closely with functional groups in all stages of acquisitions, leading the legal due diligence process, and assisting in the development of legal strategy across the acquisition portfolio. The role also involves driving continuous improvements in deal processes, managing outside counsel, and contributing to high-priority tasks and matters within the strategic transactions legal team.Applicants should have 3-6 years of legal experience, with a focus on M&A, and be adept at dealing with transactions, investments, and companies across multiple jurisdictions and time zones. A highly responsive, service-oriented attitude, the ability to work under pressure, and in-depth knowledge of corporate, securities, and contract law are essential. Experience in technology, software, and SaaS companies is a plus, as is a proven track record of independently negotiating complex strategic transactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player, and demonstrate the flexibility to assist in the legal department's mission. Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law in the U.S.
