Sound Restaurant Family is Hiring a Marketing and Brand Coordinator Near Seattle, WA

Do you love photography and brand image? Do you have an eye for aesthetics and design? Are you hungry to grow and learn? Do you love all things food, beverage, and restaurants? If this sounds like you, we’d love to chat.

Sound Restaurant Family is looking for a Marketing and Brand Coordinator who is enthusiastic about restaurants and marketing. Our ideal candidate does not need prior marketing experience, but must be eager to assist in the creative function of our brand’s marketing team and have an all hands on deck attitude. This position will work directly with the Marketing Director to create social content, manage engagement on digital channels, assist in various marketing projects, maintain brand standards, assist with restaurant based tasks, and support in marketing strategies and execution. This is a unique role that will show you all sides of the restaurant industry, allow you to build a book and portfolio with multiple brand concepts, and has the opportunity for you to grow professionally in the company.

The Marketing and Brand Coordinator must be able to work independently, show initiative and passion, and be willing to regularly commute to our various restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • Create social content
  • Create and maintain editorial calendar and scheduling for social media channels and marketing emails
  • Maintain cohesive and unified brand voice and brand implementation across all channels
  • Support marketing strategies and execution
  • Assist in brand initiatives including promotions,
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and develop marketing assets to support business goals
  • Travel between our various restaurants to develop content
  • Act as a brand ambassador
  • Provide operational support such as menu edits, printing menus, general admin tasks

Qualifications

  • No prior marketing experience needed, though you will be required to submit a sample of photography (and design if you have it)
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and work independently on assigned tasks
  • Passion for food, beverage, and the restaurant industry and your thumb on the pulse of trends and digital media
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and follow direction
  • Ability to work with, present to, and communicate well with Executives and Management
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to multitask
  • Must have stellar interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic food photography and videography skills, advanced photography knowledge preferred
  • General design knowledge (Canva, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
  • Ability to travel with reliable transportation
  • Sense of humor, cultural intelligence, enjoy being around people

Work Environment

Our Marketing and Brand Coordinator will largely work independently, and from our main office when required. This role will spend a lot of time in the various restaurants.
