You must have 2 years of experience in dental assisting and possess fantastic communication skills. Compensation:$20 - $26 hourly
Responsibilities:- Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
- Evaluate and document vital signs for patients and update medical records
- Welcome patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment
- Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
- Certification or Associate’s Degree from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
- Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or RDA state license by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
- 2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred
