Sorting Tab is Hiring a Vice President of Franchise Recruiting Near Philadelphia, PA

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters to bring in the future Owner-Operators . In general, stores are independently owned and operated, typically by a person or a pair of people with retail management experience and entrepreneurial hunger. You will lead a team of ~15 that generates over 30,000 leads per year to result in identifying Aspiring Operators in Training (AOTs) from coast to coast to support the company's rapid store growth. AOTs proceed into a rigorous training program of approximately five months before being selected for a store. The specific goals for identifying AOT's for this year (2024) is 70 and the goals increase each year as our store count and business grows.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the role and goals of the AOT Recruiting function in the overall corporate strategy and set objectives that are aligned with these.
  • Leading a team of seasoned recruiters to generate leads, assess talent, recruit AOTs with the required competencies to achieve and exceed the identification goals/quotas in their respective markets today and as we grow and scale the business
  • Work and collaborate with the business partners, including AOT Training and Transitions teams, to identify and develop AOT key capabilities and competencies, and assessment tools to ensure quality AOTs for to drive AOT success.
  • Set recruiting targets to match our geographic and timing needs for store openings. Work closely with the Real Estate and Construction teams and the New Store Success team to align on timing for store openings.
  • Manage the AOT Recruiting budget and marketing costs.
  • Develop a robust internal recruiting program in partnership with the AOT training team.
  • Collaborate with and motivate direct reports on their professional development and growth; develop clear and measurable goals for direct reports; manages achievement of goals/quotas; provides regular coaching and feedback; rewards strong performance and addresses performance issues promptly and consistently.
  • Ability to use resource tools to develop appropriate pipeline opportunities.
  • Travel to meet and network with internal stakeholders and potential candidates.
  • Monitor direction and growth of the business, industry developments and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 10 years recruiting and leading recruiting efforts for customer-facing business leaders (e.g., franchisees in a restaurant chain).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, start up like environment.
  • Passion for working with our Independent Operators to help them improve and grow their businesses.
  • Proven and effective approach for assessing talent.
  • Strong planning skills and analytical abilities, especially with matching role openings in the future to efforts for today.
  • Passion for collaboration and driving for results.
  • Extraordinary listening and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented; able to effectively manage time.
  • Has a background in grocery, retail, or customer service.
  • Experience in performance assessment and coaching.
  • Excellent communication skills both vertically and cross-functionally to break down barriers for the team.
  • Experience managing remote teams.
  • Experience managing a team budget.
  • Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $190,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
