Summary & Objective of Job:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position primarily focuses on providing individual and/or group therapy to the clients of Sonoran Learning and Behavioral Services. RBTs implement interventions and protocols as prescribed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), while collecting and graphing raw data every session. RBTs are provided at least 5% supervision monthly to maintain their certification and to ensure ongoing training to maintain high quality care for clients receiving services from Sonoran Learning and Behavioral Services.

Essential Functions

1. Provide 1:1 therapy to children in the clinic, home, and community settings

2. Follow protocols and interventions as prescribed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

3. Collect raw data and graph data for all therapy sessions in a timely manner

4. Attend supervisions as scheduled and request supervisions as needed

5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for clients, self, and others

6. Sanitize all toys and surfaces utilized during therapy sessions at end of session and/or workday

7. Maintain professional relationships and boundaries with clients, families, co-workers, supervisor, outside providers, and community partners

8. Ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues

9. Punctuality and timeliness with attendance and documentation

10. Communicate any ethics violations or suspicious activity promptly to a supervisor

11. Maintain open communication with supervisor to ensure high quality service to clients

12. Create stimuli and training materials for clients

13. Parent training

14. Other duties as assigned
