A Behavior Technician has the unique opportunity to participate in the provision of behavior analytic services in clinic, home, and community settings under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst ® (BCBA®). A Behavior Technician will be trained and developed to act as a vital member of the Behavior Analytic Services department in various capacities, including but not limited to assisting with assessments and providing clinic, home, and community-based behavior analytic interventions to children and their families.

Essential Functions

1. Data Collection
2. Implement objective measurement procedures
3. Enter data, update, and create graphs
4. Conduct preference assessments
5. Assist with individualized assessments
6. Assist with functional assessment procedures
7. Implement behavior analytic interventions as prescribed by supervisor
8. Use contingencies of reinforcement
9. Assist with training of stakeholders
10. Implement interventions based on antecedent modifications
11. Implement differential reinforcement procedures
12. Implement extinction procedures
13. Implement emergency procedures according to protocol
14. Report on variables that may impact client progress and assessment activities
15. Complete objective assessment notes and document services per company guidelines
16. Communicate effectively with supervisor and colleagues
17. Comply with legal, regulatory, and company reporting policies
18. Display Professional Conduct
19. Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly
20. Communicate with stakeholders as authorized
21. Maintain professional boundaries
22. Attends meetings and trainings as required
23. Attends staff meetings as scheduled 
24. Provides input at staff meetings 
25. Informs supervisor about any questions or concerns
26. Assists in maintaining a professional, clean and welcoming environment in the office
