Job Description Summary

.The HR Project Manager is responsible for supporting the needs of the HR function to support the hotels. This individual will work with the corporate HR team to roll out new initiatives and cycles that impact our over 200 hotels. The HR Project Manager will be responsible for the accuracy of projects, presentations, and reporting needed on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. This role will be charged with assisting the HR and Operations team with organizing ongoing projects that have HR impact for our hotels. This will involve monitoring projects plans, reports, and obtaining data from hotel teams to ensure deadlines are met.
To be successful in this role one will need to have excellent time management and communication skills. The role requires proficient dexterity in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
This role entails a high-energy and proactive approach to anticipating organizational requirements.
This role will be 3 days in our Corporate Newton location and 2 days remote.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service while managing a fast-paced work product.

  • Support HR Leaders in the following areas, but not limited to:
    • Annual program cycles, (Performance and Compensation Cycles, Engagement Cycles, Compliance Cycles)
    • HR managed programs; Employee Development Program, Succession Management Program
    • Progress and Status Updates
    • Implementation and communication plan for rollouts
    • Development of PowerPoints, messaging templates and project plans
  • Development and maintenance of an annual program calendar.
  • Ensure projects and assignments adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately, and deadlines are met. All materials should be stores in our repository for next cycle.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings and events where appropriate and distribute minutes to team member as needed. Organizing and developing presentation materials for internal meetings and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain calendar invitations for internal meetings, project reminders, and additional tasks to fulfill each goal and objective.
  • Ability to analyze and organize requirements and create a project plan for various initiatives.
  • Coordinate annual and quarterly budget and invoice submittals.
  • Coordinate and create reporting information for key projects respective business owners.
  • Maintain files, folders, and access of the Microsoft Teams for project organization.
  • Work with HRIS to establish reports/dashboard or other HRIS related items to assist hotels in completing the cycle/program.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency.

  • Human Resources experience is advantageous.
  • Previous Project Management experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient in ability to juggle multiple projects in various stages at one time.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a support, administrative, project management or professional client services role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a face-paced environment, supporting multiple roles at the mid-senior management level.
  • Strong communication skills: demonstrated ability to interact employees and third parties that reflects highly on the Company.
  • Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver presentations in a concise, well-organized manner.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word
  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong interest and desire in continuing to develop technologically savvy skills.
  • Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.

Additional Job Information/Anticipated

Pay Range

Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills, and job specific/overall experience.
