Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Desktop Support Specialist Level 1. This is a contract to hire opportunity based out of Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications:

• Requires 3 years of related work experience.
• knowledge of imaging tools (SCCM, MDT, Ghost).
• knowledge of data backup and recovery tools.
• Installing, upgrading, and migrating to Windows 7/10.
• Deploying Windows 7/10/11 in large environments.
• Basic hardware and applications.
• Basic network connectivity.
• Configuring backup and recovery options.

Certification:

• A Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support to users with operational and technical support.
• Resolve incidents and problems associated with end-user equipment.
• Support uses connecting or attempting to connect to the corporate network and assists in the coordination and completion of accessing LAN, print, and file services.
• Provide repair and maintenance for mobile devices.
• Install, upgrade, and repair equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals).
• Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non-warranty assets for end users.
• Provide network printers and scanner network connectivity, including providing network support for device configuration, IP address, and direct TCP/IP output.
• Configure and support end-users on mobile computing platforms.
• Deskside support services as required.
