Job Title : Patient Care Associate - PACU
Location : New York, NY
Schedule : 8 am to 5 pm
Pay Rate : $ 74
Duties :
Under direct supervision of a licensed Nurse or other professional medical staff in a health care setting, performs a variety of clerical and health-related duties associated with patient care; performs related work.
Skills :
2 years of PACU experience required
Education : AHA BLS - required
AHA BLS - required
A four-year High School Diploma or its educational equivalent; and,
Successful completion of a NYS Department of Health prescribed training program for Phlebotomy, satisfactory to the Laboratory Director and appropriate to the workload of the facility; and
Completion of a facility-based training program in the performance of electrocardiographs and basic life support procedures including certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation.
Additional Note :
Staff is required for EVERY OTHER WEEKEND coverage in their schedule.
