Minimum 1 years special education experience required.

We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Colorado Special Education teaching license and have experience working with students in grades 6-12 with mild to moderate disabilities.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to support academic and social-emotional growth.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and engagement.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (required); Master's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students in grades 6-12 with mild to moderate disabilities.
• Knowledge of best practices in special education instruction and assessment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
