Solar Service Technician
Summary/Objective:
The Service Technician is responsible for servicing existing PV systems, both residential and commercial. They will be diagnosing and troubleshooting Inverter errors, faults, process RMAs and installing modules. They will also perform IV curve tracing, Irradiance testing, commissioning, and performing routing string testing, wiring and torqueing terminations. Defined procedures cover most duties. Generally, the Service Technician is expected to deal with different and specialized situations. Service Technicians travels daily. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.

This job operates routinely outdoors 80% of the time. Travel on a job-to-job basis.
Physical Requirements:
Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body and be to work in various positions. Have appropriate visual, verbal and hearing acuity to follow and give instructions, operate machinery and equipment, and determine the accuracy of the assigned work.
Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. The employee frequently required the use of hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Mental Application: Utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills are important.
