Title: IT Service Technician

Sample of Duties:
● Assess the urgent needs of varied business users via phone requests and CRM software. Prioritize work for the day/week.
● Diagnose and resolve (in person and/or remotely) technological issues including but not limited to desktop PCs, networks, printers, phones, security cameras, servers, internet applications, operating systems, industry specific software, etc.
● Perform weekly maintenance on varying clientele’s technological infrastructure (after hours required) for optimal performance.
● Conduct face-to-face, in person, and over the phone follow-up and check- in visits with clientele on a routine basis.
● Install cabling, wall and server racks, various cable terminations, access points, point-to point devices, switches, firewall, and other essential networking components.
● Other project work, as needed.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or GED
● 1 years of relevant IT work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
● Great customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers via phone and in person.
● Ability to work independently within a high-pressure environment.
● Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask.
● Able to bend, crawl, stoop, sit, lift, move 50 pounds of weight, ascend and descend a ladder, and use power and hand tools.
● Valid AZ Driver’s License and own reliable transportation.
● Overtime, on-call and after-hours work required on occasion.
● Preferred: Educational coursework in information technology relevant field and/or IT Technician Certifications (e.g. CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified, CCNA or Network )
