The Specialists are responsible for providing staff reports and presentations to the First 5 Commission (governing board) on topics related to the area of assignment. In addition, the positions may be responsible for internally run programs, and performs related duties as assigned.
These positions are "at-will" senior management positions and are exempt from the civil service; incumbents serve at the discretion of the Appointment Authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEExperience: Two (2) years of progressively responsible business or contract administration experience, AND
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with major upper division course work preferably in business, public administration, finance or accounting.
