Soho Construction is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Dallas, TX

Position Overview:

The Construction Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion. This individual is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, on schedule, and within budget while meeting quality standards and safety regulations. The Construction Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and is accountable for coordinating resources, managing risks, and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process. Need to travel to any place as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

· Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

· Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

· Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and milestones.

2. Risk Management:

· Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

· Monitor and address issues related to safety, quality, and compliance with building codes and regulations.

· Implement corrective actions to address deviations from project plans or specifications.

3. Team Leadership and Coordination:

· Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

· Foster a collaborative work environment and promote effective communication among team members.

· Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately, ensuring accountability and performance excellence.

4. Client Relations:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing regular updates on project status.

· Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the construction process.

· Resolve any conflicts or disputes in a timely and professional manner.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.

· Generate regular status reports and performance metrics for project stakeholders.

· Compile final documentation and closeout reports upon project completion.

6. Budgeting and Cost Management:

· Establish project budgets and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.

· Monitor costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain financial objectives.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.

7. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

· Implement quality control measures to uphold construction standards and specifications.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

· Address any deviations from quality standards promptly and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

· Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Procore.

· Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes/regulations.

· Familiarity with risk management principles and practices.

· Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
