Software Methods is seeking a full-time Data Analytics Manager for our client located in the Media, PA area. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare industry leading and developing a team of data analysts.
The Data Analytics Manager is a business minded individual responsible for understanding the data needs across the enterprise and to develop and execute a roadmap to maximize data capabilities and business insights. The primary responsibility will be to support both internal departments (i.e., accounting, finance, operations) and external customers through data analytics, business modeling, and report generation. The position may also include overseeing the implementation of new systems or applications to improve the analytical capabilities of the Company, and other initiatives to support interdepartmental decision-making and reporting.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of data analysts
• Develop strategies for effective data analysis, reporting and deliverables
• Define company-wide metrics and relevant analytics and performance metrics for accreditations and payor contracts to support compliance, service quality, and clinical standards
• Develop business intelligence systems and models potentially including dashboards, forecasts, and scenario planning models
• Assist with integrating and consolidating data from various systems and branch pharmacies
• Create efficiencies and automation in reporting when possible
• Utilize RPA & BI platforms to automate reports where possible.
• Implement BI and Data Visualization platforms to deliver unique insights into data and enhance client deliverables.
• Develop and implement predictive models and ML algorithms where applicable.
• Keep abreast of industry news and trends
• Perform other such tasks as assigned by senior management.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Analytics Manager or a Senior Data Analyst
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare industry working experience
• Hands-on work experience with Excel (Formula, Pivots, VLOOKUP’s) and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g.Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Business Intelligence application and data visualization experience a plus
