Seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor in Canton, MI with a strong background in maintenance management and experience with multi-family residential properties. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, handling repairs, and ensuring that the properties are well-maintained and in optimal condition. Must be proactive towards maintenance tasks to oversee maintenance and grounds personnel, ensuring the ongoing upkeep of the residential properties and maintaining the community to the highest standards of quality and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Supervise other maintenance and grounds personnel.
Oversee ongoing maintenance needs, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
Coordinate with vendors for contracted services, including capital improvement projects.
Prepare apartments for make-ready turns.
Perform general maintenance duties as necessary.
Respond to after-hour emergency calls and perform on-call duties.
Handle snow removal and maintain grounds, including common areas.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
Complete work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical.

Qualifications:
Expertise with on-site maintenance management
4-5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties
1-2 years in a supervisory background.

HVAC certification is required
Detailed knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and be able to travel to other properties if needed.
Must have a basic set of tools.
Responsible and reliable with a positive, "get the job done" attitude.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification: HVAC certification is required.
