Expanding insurance defense firm is seeking an attorney to join their litigation team. The ideal candidate will handle their own case load, work independently as well as in a team environment, conduct depositions, discovery, arbitrations/mediation, draft reports and legal submissions, as well as make court appearances. This position is open to all levels of experience. The position offers growth opportunity, as well as a partnership track. Responsibilities * Prepare legal reports and communicate with clients; * Conduct depositions, draft motions, discovery responses/demands, responses to Court Orders; * Appear in Court, handle arbitrations/mediations, trial preparation Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * JD from Accredited Law School * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Strong legal knowledge * Admission to New York State Court; admission to Federal Court is a plus.
