Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Planning & Allocations, the Director of Allocations supports SNIPES Omni Channel sales by ensuring the accuracy of allocations via store clusters and close collaborations Merchandising and Store Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in allocations in a retail environment developing strategies, improving current processes in multiple product categories, and working with allocation systems. This person will manage a team of Merchandise Replenishment Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Planning & Allocations and planning managers to ensure merchandise allocations align with strategic initiatives.
• Manage the allocation strategies with a focus on omni-channel growth opportunities, store clustering and customer profiles.
• Partner with Store Operations team to maintain list of growth opportunities inside retail stores and ensure accuracy in allocation planning.
• Partner with Merchandising team to review key allocation metrics and adjust based on analysis.
• Deep knowledge of retail Allocations systems to effectively impact business needs.
• Ability to quickly react and anticipate business changes.
• Effectively lead and develop a team of Merchandise Replenishment Analysts

Qualifications

• 5 years of Allocations experience with 2 years in a Senior Management role; Bachelors degree preferred.
• Fluent in retail Allocation systems Blue Yonder.
• Advanced excel skills required
• Strong Leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrated history of an innovative and solution based mindset
