We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data analysis methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our decision-making process by providing strategic insights based on data-driven analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather and analyze data from various sources, and present findings to key stakeholders. This role requires exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Conduct statistical analysis, data modeling, and hypothesis testing to generate insights
• Develop and maintain data collection systems and databases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and prioritize data requirements
• Create and present reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and recommendations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in data management and reporting
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• Proven experience as a data analyst or business analyst
• Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and statistical analysis
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data mining techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
