Based in Southern California, Snap Creative is a design and manufacturing company with over 25 years of success developing top-selling products for leading entertainment brands. Snap's products are sold worldwide partnering with clients such as Marvel, Universal Theme Parks, AMC Theatres, and Sony Pictures. Our work includes the creation of products for franchises like Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob, and more.

The work environment at Snap is solution-focused, fast-paced, and highly collaborative with an emphasis on cross-functional teamwork. We are looking for a candidate who loves numbers and schedules to join our team. We are currently a hybrid workplace with in-office days Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday. We are headquartered in Ventura County.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:

• Prepare and send invoices
• Receive and record all cash, checks, credit card and ACH payments daily.
• Contact clients for payment resolution
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
• Facilitate payment arrangements
• Resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain billing accounts and records
• Produce reports as required by management

Accounts Payable:

• Process, verify, and reconcile vendor bills
• Process vendor payments and resolve any discrepancies
• Request W9s and other documentation to ensure authorized payments.
• Work to resolve vendor issues promptly and courteously.
• Monitor and meet payment deadlines, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor expenses
• Handle expense reimbursements
• Process credit card billing and expense reports

General:

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Maintain accurate and complete records of AR/AP transactions
• Maintain organized filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding billing, payments, and account information.
• Prepare and submit sales tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation
• Comply with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years professional experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook and Excel required), with the ability to aggregate business data, apply formulas and functions to quickly summarize information.
• Knowledge of Quickbooks or Netsuite a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deal positively with changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to track and maintain schedules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
