Job Title: Control Service Technician
Job Location: New Prague, MN, U.S.A. 56071
Pay: Competitive Pay!!!
Shift Structure: ONSITE, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
About the Role: The Control Service Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain customer’s equipment. Work will include, but not limited to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing a wide variety of water & wastewater controls, such as: VFDs, PLCs, SCADA telemetry, & station control panels.

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, repair, and troubleshoot controls of fluid handling products.
• Understanding of basic PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley)
• Provide on call assistance for emergency/unscheduled repairs of Control equipment as needed.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic.
• Read and interpret pump manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Able to understand and follow ladder diagrams and wiring schematics
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma/GED
• Post-secondary or trade school is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD, motor controls, process instrumentation, and Windows based control software desired
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley software
• Technical Capacity

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
