Evening Supervisor LPN/RN

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate evening supervisor LPN/RN to join our nursing team. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality of care, medication administration, staff supervision, and patient satisfaction on the evening shift. You will also communicate with patients and their families, physicians, and other health care professionals to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

To be successful as an evening supervisor LPN/RN, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should also have a valid LPN or RN license, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of experience in a health care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants and other staff on the evening shift
• Provide direct nursing care to patients as needed, including treatments, procedures, and documentation
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other health care providers
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Respond to emergencies and handle complex situations
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge plans
• Maintain patient and employee records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and quality standards

Qualifications:

• LPN or RN license in the state of employment
• BLS certification
• 3 years of experience as a nurse, preferably in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of current nursing practices and trends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to work evening shifts and weekends as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
