Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a sales associate with one or more years experience in a smoke shop also must have three years of sales experience. We pay hourly plus commission and tips.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive offerings
- Cleaning the store
- Opening the store 15 minutes early
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and keep the store tidy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in wireless sales, electronics sales, or technical sales is a plus
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills to process transactions and calculate discounts or promotions
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as profit margins, markups, and sales percentages is beneficial
