A well-established firm is seeking a seasoned Property Manager tooversee the maintenance, operations and management of several properties including a condo and several residences, some historical in nature. The properties are located in Roanoke, VA; Greenbrier County, WV; and Charleston, SC. Some travel is required.
The Property Manager will oversee a select group of vendors, sub-contractors, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and painters; as well as staff employed at the properties.
This position is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the properties as requested by owners. Management of staff and vendors is required to maintain the properties in top-notch condition at all times. Planning, scheduling and organization is a large part of the job. Communication to all parties is important as well as timely reporting to owners.
Preparation and management of property budgets are important as well as reporting accurately to owners. Must be able to keep properties on time and on budget.
At least 5 years working in construction and property management required. Able to recruit, hire and train tradesmen and employees. Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be computer capable and have working knowledge of MS Excel. Offer of employment is contingent upon a successful background check.
