A well-established firm is seeking a seasoned Property Management Director tooversee the maintenance, operations and management of several personal properties including a condo and several residences, some historical in nature. The properties are located in Roanoke, VA; Greenbrier County, WV; and Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will be based in Charleston, SC but would be willing to consider candidates based in Roanoke, VA. Travel is required.

The Property Management Director will oversee a select group of vendors, sub-contractors, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and painters; as well as staff employed at the properties.

Position requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations. This position is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the properties as requested by owners. The management of staff and vendors is required to maintain the properties in top-notch condition at all times. Planning, scheduling and organization is a large part of the job, including the ability to develop reports that measure progress.

Prepare and coordinate plans that outline operating procedures to be used in response to disasters or emergencies, such as hurricanes, and recovery from these events.

Communication with key stakeholders is important as well as timely communication to owners.

Preparation and management of property budgets are important as well as reporting accurately to owners. Must be able to keep properties on time and on budget.

At least 5 years working in construction and property management required. Able to recruit, hire and train tradesmen and employees. Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be computer capable and have working knowledge of MS Excel.

Education/Experience:

· Construction and Property management: 5 to 10 years (Preferred)

· Supervisory: 5 years (Preferred)

· Personal property management experience preferred.
