Our thriving non profit organization has been rapidly expanding our mental health treatment services across New York City. We have been providing mental health treatment to children and families throughout all walks of life for over 40 years. We are involved in many different areas of care including but not limited to foster care, residential treatment, care coordination, school programs, and family behavioral health and wellness. As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would join a collaborative team of Prescribers in a dynamic work environment. This would be a full time permanent position with full benefits included but we are also open for part time employment as well. Please see job highlights below.

Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Location: Bronx NY

Salary: $140,000 to $150,000 Full comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities:

Conducting interventions for youth and families

Helping with family functional problems

Coordinating care with other psychiatric providers if necessary

Attending team meetings via zoom when necessary

Providing ongoing medication management

Performing in depth psychiatric evaluations of patients

Documenting notes in EMR system

Monitoring patient’s treatment and evaluating behavioral health status

Providing education on mental health guidelines

Requirements:

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of accredited PMHNP Masters Degree Program

Experience with children and adolescence strongly preferred

Active or in process PMHNP New York license
