We are ideally seeking a family nurse practitioner who has some experience but are open to seeing new graduates. Our organization offers the right candidate a great atmosphere to learn and adapt in a new environment. As the Family Nurse Practitioner, you would also have an opportunity to work in a collaborative work environment with a few prescribers. Please see job highlights below.
Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Family Nurse Practitioner (Upper Westchester County)
Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 full comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities:
Interview and examine patients to determine a diagnosis.
Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to remedy medical problems.
Stitch wounds and set bones.
Administer immunizations.
Maintain patient records and provide documentation for insurance companies.
Hours - 9-5 Monday through Friday some weekend coverage
Requirements:
Must have graduated from accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program
Board Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner
Preferred 1 or more years’ experience in primary care
Will see new graduates
Community health experience would be a plus!
