Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist/ Recruiter to join our team. As the Human Resources Generalist/ Recruiter, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple aspects of the HR department, including talent acquisition and retention, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company goals and objectives
- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC guidelines, and OSHA standards
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics such as sexual harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and workplace safety
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Dayforce
- Oversee data collection and analysis for HR metrics such as turnover rates, time to fill positions, and training effectiveness
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic workforce planning initiatives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR
Experience:
- 1-3 years in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment and generalist duties.
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Dayforce
- Experience with HR sourcing tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as Paychex is a plus
