Position: Service Technician for our Richmond VA service center. This position will also be utilized to cover surrounding Service Centers (Chester and Farmville) when needed (In which drivetime and mileage reimbursement would be paid). Training will continue until the individual passes their VA required certification for this position. As a Field Service Technician, you will Install, Calibrate and Remove Ignition Interlocks from clients vehicles.

This is an automotive style setting, part in office, part in a hot/cold garage bay. Minimal experience is required, but you will be expected to learn and retain the training so you can install and run a Service Center solo within a 2 month timeframe.

MUST POSSES A CLEAN BACKGROUND. Background check and drug screen required.

Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain the integrity, confidentiality and security of pertinent information and records.
• Fast paced environment including a lot of multi-tasking while maintaining excellent customer service. One man locations which means installing, removing and calibrating devices.
• Installation, service and removal of interlock devices with care and quality and following all VA regulations as well as performing monthly calibration checks and troubleshooting
• Assist in inventory control and processes
• Conduct training and paperwork sessions covering use of the device to clients and others.
• Maintain a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees

Ability and willingness to travel to cover locations throughout the state (Drivetime and mileage paid for these instances)

• High level of customer service, due to devices being DMV and Court ordered
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• The ability to cover multiple locations if needed
• A consistency of arriving to work on schedule with punctuality

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possess excellent telephone skills
• Detail orientated
