Our Client Success Group is a team of post-sales experts who work with Wall Street Journal Barron's Group advertising and events clients to ensure smooth and successful execution of our multifaceted programs. The Client Success team is the engine that drives WSJ BG’s work with momentum and efficiency. Sitting at the nexus between clients, sales and execution, the team will be experts at synthesizing client and internal intelligence to successfully deliver high performing programs.
ou will:
● Deliver all sponsor activations for custom and newsled event sponsorships, coordinating with internal and client teams to successfully deliver contracted sponsorship elements at virtual and in person events and meetings.
● Serve as the bridge between the point of sponsorship sale and the teams required to activate and deliver virtual and live events sponsorships. Work closely with all key functional areas including Production/Program Management, Marketing/PR, Programming, Creative and Sales, while serving as the internal advocate for the client.
● Develop strong, long-lasting client relationships in the post-sale phase of assigned sponsorships, positively representing the sales lead and organization in every client touchpoint
● Host (independently or in coordination with other internal teams) client touch points ensuring milestones are being met to ensure successful event engagements.
● Ensure successful client touch points through well communicating client scheduling, thoroughly prepared and socialized agendas, concise conversation recaps inclusive of recommendations and next steps for clients and internal stakeholders.
● Deliver reporting, performance metrics and recaps from events to clients, partnering with internal marketing and events partners to deliver a robust understanding on the event’s success.
● Maintain and uphold the integrity of the live event editorial product, always upholding our reputation and creative values.
● Assess and coordinate the project from a deal health and margin perspective for programs in post-sale.
● Work directly with leadership to develop skillset and capability, aiming to support event sponsorships of increasing complexity throughout tenure with the end goal of independently leading flagship events and/or extremely complex clients programs.
ou Have:
● 5 years experience of relevant experience
● This is a client-facing role that requires poise, excellent project management skills, organization, and superior communication skills.
● Event attendance is a critical function of this position. Travel to events will be a required component of this role.
