Responsibilities:
As Warehouse Manager, you'll:
- Efficiently handle inbound freight, optimizing costs.
- Manage purchasing, pricing, and inventory with precision.
- Drive processes to streamline operations and boost productivity.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Implement new strategies to enhance efficiency and cut costs.
- Troubleshoot system issues to ensure timely product delivery.
- Uphold quality and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize warehouse processes.
- Handle receiving paperwork accurately on a daily basis.
- Stage materials for upcoming projects in the production department.
Qualifications/Skills:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- 5 years of warehouse/logistics management experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management and controls.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
- Basic construction knowledge is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with a 5 year clean driving history.
- Ability to pull an enclosed trailer with a company truck.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
- A proactive and process-driven approach to work.
- Forklift experience is a must.
- Organizational skills are essential.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
