LEADERSHIP:
· Will be required to carry the emergency cell phone/responding to calls for support, on a M-F schedule with periodic weekend rotations.
· As necessary, cover vacant shifts.
· Positive role model for clients and co-workers, i.e. appropriate behavior in specific setting, hygiene, dress, etc. Treat others with courtesy and respect.
· Responsible to match schedules to budgeted hours per location and communicate that information regularly with the Vice President of Community Living and the Vice President of Community Integration.
· Minimize overtime whenever possible, maximize part time staff utilization.
· Must have knowledge and a good understanding of the clients and location needs for scheduling purposes.
· Coordinate team meetings for scheduling matters as needed.
CUSTOMER SERVICES:
· Regularly interact and communicate with program departments, employee relations, and accounting/payroll department.
· Interact with others professionally and respectfully at all times and respond to their needs in a dignified and timely manner.
TEAMWORK AND COOPERATION:· Train and support staff in organizational and departmental expectations within the scope of the position.
· Work closely with others to ensure client needs are met through scheduling.
· May be required to assist in supervisory capacities or field positions when vacant.
POLICY AND PROCEDURE:
· Provide services in accordance with SLI corporate policy and procedure and within standards for licensing and accreditation.
· Maintain strict confidentiality of all staff and client information.
PUBLIC RELATIONS:
· Follow dress code.
· Represent the organization in a professional manner.
· Follow SLI code of ethics.
EFFICIENCY AND ORGANIZATION:· Utilize work time productively to accomplish SLI related tasks and goals.
· Distribute information as it is received to the appropriate person/s and/or department/s.
· Ensure staff are clear on committed work shifts.
· Review missed punches and ensure they are corrected in a timely manner.
· Ensure all timesheets are reviewed and electronically signed by management in sufficient time for payroll.
· Manage initial questions about timekeeping discrepancies with staff.
· Respond to phone calls expediently and follow up to ensure a positive end result.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
· Two years of field related experience at SLI highly preferred.
· Two years of experience in IDD and/or human services field required.
· Two years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
· Computer word processing and data entry experience is required.
· Ability to analyze information and provide reports is required.
· Ability to plan, organize, and carry out instructions.
· Ability to read and understand documents.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Must be able to accurately track, monitor, and follow up on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid Kansas driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
· Monitor compliance with leave use policies. Communicate known absences needing follow up documentation with management and employee relations.
