Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Manager to join our team. As a Food Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the food industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties: - Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Develop and implement standard operating procedures for food production and service - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary - Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner - Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques Experience: - Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating - Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Exceptional organizational and time management abilities - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - Experience in banquet or hotel settings is a plus If you are passionate about food, have excellent leadership abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
