THE ROLE

As Product Test Engineer you will be part of the Product, Design and Development team and your key responsibility will be to develop a mature way of testing our products. Working closely with the Design and Certification Engineer, you play a vital role in the development, testing and improvement of our product to ensure that it meets market needs.

This position comes with a high level of autonomy, problem solving and many opportunities for growth.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• Designing and building (or being part of building) experimental set-ups

• Owning and developing different test environments for our products against requirement specifications i.e. CO2 production per unit, unit performance and quality in different conditions

• Influencing product development regarding design for testability

• Creating test plans, test reports and professional documentation to be able to enter EU, US and Asian markets and obtain safety and other certification(s) required

• Running quality investigations (creating 8D reports)

• Active role in the CO2 capture products development

• Being able to travel approx. 20% of your time

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A Masters in electronics, physics, IT or a related discipline

• 3 years of relevant hands-on experience focusing on testing - in hardware development, mechanical design or electronics

• Experience with embedded software and IoT in testing environments

• Affinity with electrical systems and wiring

• Ability to analyze and interpret data

• Ability to design and run product test setup

• Nice to have: data analysis skills, C , Python, 3D modeling software skills

• Proficiency in the English language

• You live in The Netherlands, within commuting distance from Amsterdam (or willing to relocate)
