Skymarket Hospitality is Hiring a Line Cook | Southern Steak & Oyster Near Nashville, TN

Southern Steak & Oyster are looking for our next talented Line Cook, to join our growing team! Our back of house staff is the best of the best and consistently deliver exemplary service with diverse clientele.

Recognizing what our guests want, our Cooks deliver it with the utmost pride, energy, and enthusiasm. We are team players and are constantly attempting to find ways to improve our craft!

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Correctly seasons, cooks, and plates all menu items according to company specifications, recipes, and procedures, ensuring all items are prepared and served to our standards of quality, presentation, and timing
  • Considers all guests and the business his or her first priority
  • Communicates and coordinates with the other back of house staff to ensure smooth service
  • Works well in a team environment where responsibilities are shared

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have previous kitchen experience
  • Must understand and practice basic food and alcohol safety
  • Minimum age: 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check to qualify for employment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

May frequently need to work holidays, weekends and nights. Hours will vary depending on the business and staffing needs. Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 30 lbs., as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment
