Skyla Credit Union is Hiring an Office Manager - Skyla Wealth Near Pasadena, CA

Pay Grade: 11
Primary Functions:
Responsible for directing and administering the operational and business development efforts of the Skyla Wealth office. Ensure all established policies and procedures are followed. This role will ensure member relationships are developed and maintained with prompt and thorough follow-through. Identify and understand the member’s financial goals and help provide tailored service and investment solutions or recommendations. Provide training, coaching, and support of all office personnel. Accountable for the Skyla Wealth office growth as well as developing and maintaining a quality sales and service culture.
Essential Functions:
  1. Monitor and oversee the office personnel to ensure an efficient and positive member experience.
  2. Manage the daily operations of the office.
  3. Utilize experience and professionalism to mentor staff to effectively communicate with high-net-worth members.
  4. Provide exceptional phone etiquette and professional written correspondence.
  5. Accomplish multiple daily tasks with an emphasis on quality of work and effectiveness of tasks that include follow up with members or staff.
  6. Assist with scheduling personnel to ensure proper staffing.
  7. Provide monthly coaching and development opportunities to Skyla Wealth office personnel. Complete annual performance appraisals for direct reports. Create and maintain an environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration and employee engagement.
  8. Ensure meetings and training sessions are held regularly to keep staff up to date on security, operations, policy and procedural changes and audit controls.
  9. Resolve member problems/inquiries beyond the authority of other office personnel.
  10. Open accounts and complete loan applications in the office or by any other digital channel as needed.
  11. Work with VP Wealth Management to maintain focus on sales, service, and cross-selling efforts within the office.
  12. Seek new business opportunities to build and sustain relationships with existing and potential new members. Participate in credit union events/awareness campaigns and local networking meetings.
  13. Achieve business development and product/service sales goals for the Skyla Wealth office as well as individual assigned goals. Assist in the development of goals for office personnel. Monitor staff’s goal achievement and provide coaching when improvement is needed.
  14. Work with auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls.
  15. Perform surprise cash audits on all cash drawers, TCR (if applicable), and vault monthly.
  16. Monitor branch activity, including number of transactions, transactional errors, loans, new accounts, and adherence to credit union policies.
  17. Assist all staff at the office with questions, overrides, approvals, etc.
  18. Mentor office staff to strengthen skills for recommending appropriate products and services that meet members’ needs.
  19. Comply with all federal regulations, credit union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
  20. Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's core values, mission and vision.
  21. All other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational and work experience.
  2. Minimum five years of experience in financial services including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  3. Financial Services experience or training in working with high-net-worth clients.
  4. Self-motivation, effective time management, leadership, supervisory and relationship-building skills.
  5. Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
  6. Strong PC skills including Microsoft suite of products.
